You must PUSH OFF FIRMLY TO START - this means push off until you are rolling at 3km/hr or faster and now the 'go' lever by your right thumb will activate. Ensure your scooter is not on pause and that your ride is running - indicated by the app notification and the fact that the scooters lights will be on.
The Queensland State Government recently reduced the speed limit for e-scooters to 12km/hr on footpaths and we must comply with that. You can only ride on road bike lanes if it is signposted as 50km/hr or lower, and you can ride on a local street if it is 50km/hr or lower with no centre line. See below for the full explanation.
Immediately check the map - are you within the service area? If not, return. Did you enter a 'red zone'? If yes, leave it. Have you been doubling? You may have overheated the ECU. Walk the scooter back to a parking hub. Unsure why the scooter has stopped? Call us and we'll reset your scooter over the phone - this solves most issues.
You may activate up to four scooters at a time - meaning you can take friends or family along for the ride. They have to be 12 or older and you may NOT double - it's illegal and dangerous. You must accompany younger riders at all times.
Please check the current government rules regarding where you can ride and what speeds you can travel at.
